UPDATE: The male on the motorcycle succumbed to his injuries at the hospital shortly after the collision. The investigation is ongoing.

Just after 9:30 p.m. Police. Fire, and EMS units were dispatched to the Boulevard of the Allies and Marion Street just outside Mercy Hospital for a vehicle that collided with a motorcycle.
Arriving EMS units performed CPR on the male motorcycle rider who was taken to the hospital in grave condition. The driver of the vehicle refused medical attention.
A second vehicle was also struck as a result of the initial crash but no one was hurt.
The Collision Investigation Unit is investigating.
